| The tarpon fishing in Key West Harbor is
second to none...if you know what you are doing. Most of
the light tackle guides here in Key West use shrimp boat by
catch to chum these tarpon into a frenzy, along with many of
species of fish like permit, snapper, barracuda... You get the
picture! In my opinion this is hands down the best way to
get hooked up on the Silver King. I had many days last
year where my charters would hook over 20 tarpon. I would
say the average hooks up we received will tarpon fishing would
be around 12 a day. You have to take into consideration the
size of a tarpon and the amount of time it takes to land
one. normally with 12 hook ups, you are pretty much
on a fish the entire trip.
You don't believe it, bring it on. This is what
I do. This is my specialty and it shows. If you
really want to catch one of these giant tarpon, give me a
call. I'll get you hooked up, the rest is up to you. |

This is an average size Tarpon caught in the Key West
Harbor.
